Infusionsoft provides complete CRM (Customer Relationship Management) features, but often enough you need to integrate Infusionsoft campaigns with other systems. Our team faced this situation on a project for a client whose sales team uses Salesforce. They wanted the automated campaigns the Infusionsoft provides, but they did NOT want to migrate their sales team from Salesforce.
The tool for integrating these systems is Zapier. It has some easy to use feature for connecting the applications involved in the solution. This included LanderApp, Infusionsoft and Salesforce.
This tutorial video reviews the workflow that starts with a LanderApp opt-in form creating a new contact in Infusionsoft which creates a new lead in Salesforce. It reviews creating the new contact in Infusionsoft which begins a campaign that sends email messages to the contact over the following weeks. As the contact watches a series of 7 videos, the contact is tagged in Infusionosft with via Zapier creates notes in the corresponding Salesforce lead record. With zero access to Infusionsoft, the sales team has full visibility to this sales funnel activity and can response accordingly.

So you want to add your new Facebook leads as contacts on your Infusionsoft CRM. But do you really have the time to do that manually for every new lead? It can be quite tiresome! That’s where Automate.io comes in. It’s a simple tool to connect your favorite web apps. To begin, visit this page, click on the use case box and click on the Get Started Button.
To begin, you will see the Add Accounts screen. Here you will add your Infusionsoft & Facebook Lead Ads accounts to Automate.io. Authorize these apps by clicking on the ‘Connect’ button and entering your credentials. We always keep your data secure with bank-level encryption.
After successfully authenticating your apps, you will land on the Configure page. Here, you will configure the specific data that you want to transfer from your Facebook leads to Infusionsoft. Once you complete this step successfully, Automate.io will add every new Facebook lead as a contact on Infusionsoft.
First, let’s focus on Facebook Lead Ads which is our trigger app. It is used to define when your automation should start. This automation, also called a Bot, starts when there is a new lead on Facebook. Now coming to Infusionsoft, it’s the action app, which defines what action should happen in the workflow. In our case, we want to add or update a contact on Infusionsoft whenever there is a new lead on Facebook. By the way, there are many actions available here. You can make use of them for any other tasks.
Now, select the Facebook page and form from which you want to collect lead data. And map the necessary fields to your Infusionsoft CRM. If your lead has agreed to receive emails from you, you can set Opt In to ‘Yes’. For a more detailed view of your leads, you can map Facebook lead data to fields like phone number, Job title, Address, etc. This helps you segment your leads properly and run more specific, targeted marketing campaigns in the future.
We’ve now set up our bot. So go ahead and click Done. Now, let’s test it out. Now, come back to your Automate.io dashboard. Perfect! Let’s check our Infusionsoft. There you go! In this video, we build a system where users can register by providing their username, email, and password. This stores their information in a MySQL database and logs them in automatically. But their account will not have the full functionalities until their have activated their account by clicking on the email verification link that our system is going to email to them.
This system uses PREPARED STATEMENTS to make queries with the database which makes the system secure from SQL injection attacks.
We also implement validation with error messages display. There is also duplicate email validation which means that if a user attempts to create an account with an email that has already been used before on our system, the system will display the error message “Email already exists”.

👁 About this video (SEO): The first email marketing softwere that we’re gonna take a look at is GetResponse. This is the email marketing software I’m personally using right now and that I also like to recommend to my audience. You can actually use it as an all-in-one marketing platform because it also has features like a landing page builder, a funnel builder and even a webinar solution. I decided to go with getresponse because they have an awesome email automation tool, they have great live chat support and they offer more tools than most other providers while at the same time being one of the cheapest options. What I use the most in getresponse is the automation workflow feature where you can visually build your email sequences.
Another great email marketing software is active campaign. I’ve see many marketers using this software and they all seem to be very happy with it. When it comes to email automation workflows based on user behavior, active campaign is probably the best tool there is. Similarly to getresponse they also have a visual email workflow builder with tons of segmentation possibilities based actions, behavior, location or social data.
The next email marketing software that you might wanna check out is covertkit. Convertkit is actually very popular among bloggers. You can see on their website that their target audience is creators… so bloggers, youtubers, influencers and so on. Their service is very easy to use, they have good support and it also comes with a landing page builder an email automation workflow builder. Compared to getresponse and active campaign, convertkit doesn’t have as many advanced features like in-depth reporting and or many design templates. So if you’re looking for an easy to use service and all you wanna do is send out simple text emails, convertkit might be the right choice for you.
Ok next up on the list is a platform called sendinblue. This is a relatively new company with very affordable prices and a very attractive free plan. Unlike most other email marketing providers, they charge based on the number of emails you send out rather than how many contacts you have…
