I'm following your cold email strategies and they're working for me. I thought cold email wouldn't work in 2020 (i don't know why lol). Regarding follow up emails –
The first follow is after 3 days of the initial cold email.
When would you send the 2nd and 3rd follow up email?
Right now, I'm sending them as follows –
follow #2 – 5 days after the 1st follow up
follow #3 – 7 days after the 2nd follow up.
Let me know what you think, and if I should send these follow ups earlier.
Thanks.
Love your content and email newsletters.

Your email is nothing without follow up!
Follow up email strategy in order:
#1 – Quick bump – 0:18
– Ex: "Hey, I'm sure you're busy. Wanted to make sure this didn't get buried"
– bump replies to the first email
– sent 2 to 3 days after first email
– stagger the timing (different day & time)
#2 – 2 Ideas or Big win announcement – 2:49
– 2 Ideas based on your expertise that will help them
– Big win – showcase your big win case study related to the target niche
– Big win ex: "We just increased sales by 40% for restaurant A. We'd love to do the same for your restaurant"
#3 – Break up email – 5:07
– Ex: "Hey, at this point I'll assume our service isn't a priority this year. Please feel free to reach out if things change."
Strategy Summary – 6:08

Hey Alex, I am sure you touched on this before, but where are the best places to find companies with $5-$20M+ gross revenue to reach out to? I know LinkedIn is a great one but what are others you'd recommend? I am actually stepping into an executive business development role next week and want to hit the ground running! Your content has been very beneficial to me these past few months.

August 26th, 2020 at 7:03 am
I have followed up mine today a week after my interview. They said they will let the applicants know mid to late next week, but they have not called my references yet. So I dont have high hopes.. 🙁
August 26th, 2020 at 7:27 am
Heather hits on two critical points: first, send the follow up within 24 hours; second, personalize the thank you. Email is always a good way to quickly get them out. A couple of additional items: first, if you don't have the contact info of your interviewers send them to your point of contact and ask them to forward them on for you (this is common): second, proofread a couple of times before sending. Good luck!
August 26th, 2020 at 8:25 am
I can't download the template
August 26th, 2020 at 8:36 am
Your attitude is great! Thanks H
August 26th, 2020 at 9:14 am
