9:16 I thought I needed it to change to love the app, but I tried it out and love the app. Dark mode is pretty nice on it.

I like WIndows 10 Mail, its minimalistic and gets the job done. 100% free and you can use any emails you want.. and looks modern

Hectick ui? That's what I'm missing with Win Mail. I'm a settings nerd… I love control. Give me more settings. Looking into changing to Thunderbird or any other mailclient that's better then Win Mail.
I want Outlook 6 back again. Such a great mail client.

I've been using Windows Mail for a while – it has been ok, but the deal breaker has been I cannot find a way to display a rich header, e.g. I got some emails lately that I suspected were spoofs, but had no way to expand my header to examine that. I would consider that a basic necessity, so looks like I'll be converting to Thunderbird.

Thanks for sharing! It's a great comparison!
I was also looking the best email client fro Windows and considered some Thunderbird alternatives. I suggest everybody interested in the topic read this useful article: https://www.getmailbird.com/the-best-mozilla-thunderbird-alternatives-for-windows/

The windows application with slow because it was using a built-in security feature of Windows 10 to scan for harmful files

Now, I would say that that Thunderbird wins! At the moment its really works! And the Windows 10 (outlook) it has blocked all but one gmail (3 totaliy) and it slow.. really slow. Next to a iphone it`s from another planet! I would say Microsoft has messed it up with their emails.

I've used Thunderbird since it first came out. Now in late 2019 it is useless. I'm moving to Mail.

For a Stationery replacement in Thunderbird 68 you can now use my add-on:

it supports adding external HTML files to the write / reply and forward buttons.

The word "app" seems to be an abbreviation for "application which is extremely low on functionality", it feels like taking a step back, 20 year ago.

No mention of sorting, filtering or searching …

Thunderbird layout looks fine. For my taste, nothing has to pop out. I just need something that is easy on the eye and you know where everything when you get to know it. Thinking about using this for work. As Outlook has a glitch I'm not fond of and layout is difficult to customize, but at least on the plus side, it works.

Hands down. MS Mail is a beast.

The frequent ads finally killed my watching this video; I got 80% through it. The fact that I had to skip around to find where you even MENTIONED Thunderbird made the ads especially in my way. I specifically wanted to know about Thunderbird and you focused too much on Windows 10, You kept playing up every one of Windows 10's most useless and ugly features. You didn't discuss many specifics of Thunderbird, least of all how it actually handles mail. You played DOWN the ease of actually finding the features and tools you need, which is a strength. You wasted a lot of time trying to make Thunderbird look and act like Windows 10. People from Planet Earth, like me, specifically want a usable traditional email client. NONE of that chaaaattty stuff… Land on Planet Earth and start over, please.

If Microsoft wasn't such a moronic company they would make there default mail app worth using. How they could possibly have the least amount of options (signature) out there is beyond me. They force people to go elsewhere for proper email use. Idiots!
