Email marketing is the act of sending a commercial message, typically to a group of people, using email.
In this AWeber tutorial 2017 video I will walk you through the homepage of aweber and understanding how to navigate from list to list and in sure that you understand how to work with the lists. In the homepage I will go over the very top which tells you how many subscribers you receive for the day and yesterday. I will also go over the recent sent broadcasts and the list stats. When I am finished going through this, you will be able to understand how to navigate from list a list and understand that sometimes you may be working with different list when logging into your AWeber Account
I will then walk you through and explain the creation of setting up lists in this AWeber tutorial 2017 video. You’ll be able to understand the different components, some key features, and some things to look out for when creating a list. I will also explain how you should test each list to make sure that it is working correctly before starting your marketing.
We will then work with one list to help you understand the creation process of a email when it comes to the follow up series and broadcasts. I will cover some of the very basic features in building an email list. Even though I go over some of the basic features of building and email, I give some really good tips on the structure of an email list and how to arrange pictures and text more effectively in your email. I also explained how you can prevent people from accidentally unsubscribing from your email list. Okay, here’s why I left Aweber! In this video I talk about why I left aweber.
There are a couple of things that really stuck out to me that quite frankly, just didn’t sit with me right.
Don’t get me wrong, Aweber is a great autoresponder, I’ve been able to generate thousands of leads and build a good size list with them, but there are just too many things that I can’t ignore.
1. Aweber charges their members for unsubscribers. When somone unsubscribes from a list, they go on an “unsubscribe’ list. Then, you have to actually go in an delete those people off that list. Most people don’t know this and will get charged for those who are on that unsubscribed list.
2. Aweber charges double or triple for subscribers who are subscribed to more than one list. So, if someone signs up with one email to multiple lists, they will count as multiple subscribers and will be charged as such….. that’s stupid!
Although I do believe Aweber is still a great company, I have moved on to Getresponse.
