Free to Play or F2P games often earn criticism for putting profits ahead of good game design. Pay walls and pay to win monetization strategies corrupt the experience for all players.

Free to play. awful awful.

In short, the best things to monetize are cosmetic items that don't affect gameplay. Think about what people would think if they saw you boasting a Dragon Lore or an Akihabara Accept in CS:GO.

in roblox, alot of my favorite games i want to spend money in, even do they're free.

Here's an idea-just make a good game, sell the game for a fair price, and don't continually hold out your hand for more money.

I don't play a lot of these sorts of games (I used to play Neopets and I'm currently playing Pokemon GO), but I think this is really well said.
Neopets went with the philosophy of trying to avoid being seen as "play to win", to the point of explicitly stating that it would never happen. They offered outfits, decorations and similar items that were purely cosmetic, and no one was offended until they added an item that got you a quest every day for a week that normally is about 1-2 times a week for heavy play from random events. The quest rewards were small increases in stats and were not significantly tipping the balance, particularly since the battledome, where you use those stats, has been kind of broken for years with them not dedicating resources to fix it. It was just the perception that they had gone back on their word (something they did a lot over the years with monetization strategies) that burned them. It's one of those "games" where there is no core game, just a set of randomly thrown together things you can do to gain money and items, and a randomly thrown together set of ways to use items and battle, despite being the only real competitive aspect of the game with a lot of external sites dedicated to supporting players with it, was only used by a fraction of the players. And that fraction of course shrank dramatically during the months it was completely inaccessible and years in which most of the core features didn't work (I quit last year, I'm not sure if they ever fixed it). Shoddy management of customer experience all around, but the point is, they didn't hurt the F2P players with it.
Pokemon GO had something akin to the money bomb, a "lure" which attracts pokemon to a circle on the map around points of interest that everyone can see and interact with if they're within about 20 meters (the game displays exclusively metric, but it's actually using coordinate math inexactly so the circle gets wider the closer you get to the poles). Allegedly you get better results the more people are at the lure, but I tried experimenting with it and got no conclusive results. Either way, it was fun to be the one to put up the lure, and there was a race to put up the next lure when one expired. It worked great, many of us were happy to pay…but the novelty wore off. Like the game you mention, you can't just stay in a crowded area the whole time throwing money bombs, and Pokemon GO isn't fun sitting around a lure all the time.
This was extended with events every few months where it was more beneficial for a short period to use lures, and that worked for a while (and might still work)…until they went insane. For a while, there were events 3 out of every 4 weeks and shorter events on top of those events. Add to this an emphasis on single player items like incubators (3-use device to hatch an egg that is effectively a lootbox) and raid passes (single use items that allow participation in raid battles) and it's turned that initial giddy eagerness players had at spending money to drop lures into a frequently stated and now-unchallenged opinion that they're just mining customers for money.
tl;dr – I think there's a third point to be said about setting a sustainable framework of how users perceive purchases in the game, an then maintaining that. When you change that perception to something more profitable for you in the short term, you burn any trust you built, whether or not you're actually hurting the gameplay in a real way.

back in the day of Ragnarok Online, pay to play… you're buying time to access the game 🙁

The croods "town builder" style app has a solid paywall, so that you can't even progress after getting past the starting point, rather than just making it nigh impossible like the other apps that do this. How blatant can you get
Might have changed by now but that's how it was when I played.
