Best option for beginners! The interface is clean and easy to use and the customer service is the best! They pick up the phone and answer your questions and I have never stopped using them even though I now have bigger lists on other platforms. BEST QUALITIES: customer service and I also LOVE that Aweber let’s you easily cut off the double opt-in feature (the extra step leaves some subscribers “not verified” and basically worthless–I hate this feature)

I currently have my biggest list on MailChimp and may soon do a review video for it. Mailchimp is AMAZING if you use it with shopify. There’s nothing that comes even close when you are selling physical products on an e-commerce store. I LOVE it. You can literally see how much each email made you in dollars and cents and adjust based on income. BEST QUALITIES: Integration into Shopify and tracking subscribers to purchase. WORSE QUALITIES: They have no live customer service number, They only let you send out on the hours and not based on minutes (In aweber on some of my properties I send my autoresponders 10 minutes after sign up), they say it’s free but you dont get to use the automations (the most powerful part IMHO) until you start paying. I use GetResponse because as I get better with emails I’m starting to use surveys to segment list and tag people better. GetResponse has this stuff built in to their base plan. On the other autoresponders if you want this functionality you have to go get SurveyMonkey and Zapier to ask your list questions and take action based on their answers. GetResponse alone is cheaper than using Zapier or SurveyMonkey although I may end up getting a monthly subscription to both of them before this is all said and done.

Hey everyone!

At first glance, this automation workflow feature in GetResponse may look extremely, extremely, daunting.

BUT! Have no fear, Ivan is here!

In this video, I really just want to break down this automation workflow for you in easy-to-understand terms and show you exactly how easy and extremely effective it can be.

The first thing we need to do though is to REMOVE our subscribers from list A to list B after they bought the item through ClickBank.

We have done this integration with ClickBank in our last video, and basically as soon as someone buys something on ClickBank, they will be automatically added into our campaign list for people who bought. BUT, they need to also be removed from the previous campaign A so that they stop receiving our sales offers and promotions for that particular item.

So what I have done on the automation workflow is basically created a condition ‘when person subscribers to campaign B’ and then an action ‘they will be removed from campaign A’ and linked the two. As can be seen in the video, now whenever someone buys an item, they will automatically be removed from the first campaign they joined.

There are many such conditions and actions you can also input other than this in the automation workflow as well, such as ‘when person opens email A, send him email B’, which allows you to target particular subscribers who engage in a certain action.

Another example is if someone clicks on a link or opens a particular email, you can tag those people for future reference. That way, if you want to send out an email newsletter to a particular GROUP of people, you can do so with the tag feature!

And you know what, you don’t need to use this if you have over 10,000 subscribers. You can use this even if you have 2 subscribers. Start with a small number, get the pattern going, and move from there. If you want to really make a personal impression on your subscribers, you can create a condition on automation workflow that enables you to automatically send out a happy birthday email to everyone whenever that day comes. So awesome, isn’t it?!

When it comes to building your buyers list, one of the best promotional tools out there is Craigslist. The great thing about Craigslist is that it’s FREE and extremely effective, because it’s such a huge marketplace for real estate investors.

Craigslist has changed a lot since I first started using it to build my buyers list. The original technique behind this approach used to be very easy and effective, but over the years (as spammers and other garbage posters started clogging up the “For Sale” sections of the site), Craigslist has ratcheted down their posting criteria to be MUCH more restrictive than it was before.

At the time of this writing, there isn’t a lot of flexibility in what you can write in your listings (no fancy html coding, no clickable images, no links to outside websites, etc). These new rules were created to keep a lot of the spammers OUT and the legitimate buyers and sellers IN.

So what does this mean for a real estate investor trying to build their buyers lists? Essentially, it means we need to be more creative with finding ways to let the world know about what we’re offering and how people can get in on it.

The most effective and noticeable ads are going to have a great headline, high quality images and (for the purpose of what we’re doing) a very brief explanation of what you’re offering, what people can find out more. #realestate #retipster #sethwilliams #realestateinvesting #landinvesting
